Bio

Okay, so writing out “who Taylor is” in a few paragraphs just doesn’t sound fun to me, not to mention inauthentic. I think one can get a much better idea of who someone is by knowing what they hold dear, and what experiences they cherish.

Here is a list of moments and accomplishments in my life that I love.  I am both very proud and very humbled to have had the great fortune to have experienced these things.  I am sure you will get a good idea of the life I wish to lead and maybe even how I might be of service to you in the future.

  • Ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain with my two best friends
  • Para glided over sky scrapers in Rio, Brazil landing on Copacabana Beach
  • Sky dove with people from all over the world in Argentina… and Australia… and Canada… 10 times
  • Bungee jumped over a river with 10 friends in Nanaimo, Canada on a sunny Sunday afternoon
  • Helped make cement, haul water, and stack bricks to build a school in Kenya
  • Made it to within top 1% of Realtors in Canada in first full year (2006)
  • Had a snowball fight with 4 friends amongst penguins and seals in Antarctica
  • Coached a local little league team full of 9-11 year olds
  • Devoured tasty zebra, crocodile, chicken hearts, and snake in Nairobi, Kenya at a restaurant called Carnivore
  • Saw breathtaking art including the Mona Lisa at the Louvre’ in Paris, France
  • Rode a tandem bicycle with a weak Brazilian dude and drank way too much on a bicycle winery tour in Mendoza, Argentina
  • Saved a man’s life when I was a firefighter (literally, he had no heart beat, we shocked him 7 times, and BAM, he lives…)
  • Crashed a motorcycle into a parked truck in Ko Samui, Thailand then bribed the owner handsomely
  • Stepped foot on all 7 continents
  • Learned to speak Spanish… kind of… while living in the Canary Islands
  • 4×4′d up the Rwenzori mountains in Uganda, on the border of the Congo, to research a sustainability project
  • River rafted the Nile river in Uganda with a boat load of sugar plantation owners from India
  • Won enough money to pay for my trip to Africa while playing poker in Kampala, Uganda against people from China, France, Canada, and India
  • Placed top 3 in my first body building competition, heavy weight division… more importantly, I stood on a stage, in nothing but a little blue speedo in front of hundreds of people. A dozen friends came to support me wearing matching t-shirts :)
  • Spent a whole day in complete silence while studying yoga in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica
  • Explored the Pyramids of Giza and the tombs in Luxor, Egypt
  • Took part in an Ayawaska ceremony performed by an Amazonian Shaman while in a mountain village in Peru
  • Transformed my real estate sales career into a business that runs very profitably with me anywhere in the world
  • Hired as the youngest professional firefighter in Canada (age 20)
  • Surfed the longest left hand wave in the world in Chicama, Peru
  • Trained to be a yoga teacher in Costa Rica
  • Fell in love…… ok fell in lust…… a few times
  • Became real friends with my mom and dad :)
  • Got a huge tattoo
  • Enjoyed a deep and beautiful meditation with Zen monks in Tokyo, Japan
  • Ate schnitzel in Dusseldorf, Germany
  • Kissed a beautiful girl in Paris, under the Eiffel tower… on Valentine’s day… awwwwww ;)
  • Owned over a dozen properties by the age of 26
  • Coached my very first real coaching client to make $400,000 in one year. His previous income was under $40,000
  • Watched the sun set over Ayers Rock (Uluru) in Australia
  • Astral traveled… wow
  • Ate a guinipig that we had named Harriet, in a small town in Ecuador
  • Donated enough funds to Free The Children (www.freethechildren.com) in 2008 to build a library for school kids who, thanks to FTC, have just recently had the opportunity to learn to read (LIFE HIGHLIGHT!)
  • Safaried in a game reserve in Uganda
  • Built a company that now sees 11 people make a great living through it (first Carbon Neutral real estate group in Canada – massive charity component – triple bottom line)
  • Watched the sunrise over the world’s largest salt flats in Bolivia
  • Partied like rockstars in Vegas with 3 best friends for 3 days… actually it was 4 days, as I missed my flight… not sure what happened… my memory is foggy… and I think I may be married…
  • Meditated with hundreds of people in Florida for hours and hours a day for a week at a terrific Deepak Chopra event
  • Have a deep bond with my wonderful big sister, Jill, who is now 30, a dental assistant, and overall awesome
  • Bought my dream house… a cool ‘arts and crafts’ 100 year old character house near the ocean, in Fairfield, Victoria, Canada when I was 25 (then exchanged it for a suitcase and a plane ticket to… ‘everywhere’ when I was 28)
  • Gave a speech at my best friend’s wedding and got some laughs and some tears ;)

Overall, I am jacked to be living the life of my dreams.  The best thing I have done in recent years was deciding my “enough”.  My enough money, enough savings, enough clothes, enough vehicles (I drive a sweet 50cc scooter), enough everything.  Now that I know what my enough is, I am not caught up in materialism or always striving for more.  From now on, my income and my life are dedicated to charity and making this world a better place.

Thanks so much for reading that!  Lots of love.

Taylor
